The Connection that Almost Wasn’t…
It shouldn’t have happened. She was a west side lady residing in Green Lake and he was an east side fella living in Bellevue. Their dating app of choice was only searching for people in their neighborhoods. But, as fate would have it, while David was visiting family in Texas and Megan was visiting a friend near Bellevue, that was close enough to put themselves on each other’s radars for the briefest of moments.

After texting for days on end prior to meeting David mentioned a song over text and Megan grabbed her headphones to listen. Upon the realization of uninterrupted time and both having access to a plethera of music David suggested they listen to Little Joy. A favorite album of his from years prior. Sparks flew and crushes began.
From then on music would spark the connection, each person bringing a quintesential album from their lives to introduce to the other or creating playlists for various dates and occassions throughout the year. Even now an evening filled with music or a moment paused while shopping at the supermarket to dance are core to their love.
